MeasureUp joined forces with Jacobsens Creative Surfaces for a strong day out on the green, backing an event that brings Northland’s construction industry together in the right way.
Connection, competition and a bloody good afternoon
MeasureUp combined with Jacobsens Creative Surfaces to enter and support the annual Back to Work Bowls Day at the Whangārei Bowls Club. It was a great afternoon organised by Scope and the Building Institute of Aotearoa, bringing together people from across Northland’s construction and design sector.
These events matter. They get people off site, out of the office, and actually talking. That is where better working relationships are built.

Best dressed went all in
The Best Dressed title went to Madinio Design, who turned up dressed as Irish leprechauns for St Patrick’s Day and committed properly to the theme.
No half effort. Exactly how these sorts of days should be done.

Thanks to the organisers and sponsors
MeasureUp would like to thank Scope and NPM for supporting the event, and NPM for providing the BBQ trailer. A big thanks as well to the Building Institute of Aotearoa for continuing to create opportunities like this for the industry.
We are proud to be involved in events that strengthen the local construction sector and help keep Northland connected.
We will be back next year
Great people, strong turnout, and a proper industry atmosphere. Back to Work Bowls continues to be one of the good ones.
