MeasureUp Flooring is a locally owned and operated flooring business proudly serving Whangarei and the wider Northland region. Led by industry veterans Brian Burke and Jack Robinson, MeasureUp combines decades of experience with a commitment to quality, service, and community.

A Team Built on Experience

Brian Burke has been in the flooring industry for over 30 years. His expertise and reputation have made him a trusted name throughout Northland. Jack Robinson began working for Brian at just 16 years old, learning the craft from the ground up. With 17 years of hands-on experience, Jack became a business partner five years ago, helping to grow and evolve MeasureUp into what it is today. Both Brian and Jack are proud to be Northland locals with strong ties to the region.

As part of our ongoing growth, we’ve recently expanded into ceramic tile supply & installations. We have our very own experienced tiler Scott Pevats of Vision Tilers who joined us in April 2025. Whether it’s a one-off residential bathroom or a full commercial fit-out, Scott brings the same passion and attention to detail to every project. If you’re after quality tiling from someone who genuinely takes pride in the craft, he’s always happy to chat.

Business Awards:

On November 5th, BCITO hosted its annual Skills Summit, bringing together industry leaders to discuss the future of New Zealand’s construction sector. The event featured insightful presentations from Hon. Chris Penk, economist Shamubeel Eaqub, YouTuber Josh Chapman, author Abbas Nazari, and more, focusing on workforce development, resilience, and innovation.

The evening concluded with the 2024 Building Leaders Awards, celebrating outstanding employers who are shaping the future of the trades. Over 600 nominations were received from BCITO apprentices, highlighting employers who go above and beyond to support their people.

Our very own Brian Burke was proudly awarded this title.
